Operation Culture Kevin
Last Update: August 4, 2005 - 1:28 a.m.
For those of you who don't know, I have realized I am very uncultured when it comes to movies I have seen - so I am accepting ideas for movies that I need to watch. I am going to try and watch them all by Spring Break, unless the response is too great, then I'll let everyone know about my progress here. So if you haven't done so yet, send me up to three movie ideas at the link below!

Progress Journal:
- So I have a plan to actually finish all these movies. I subscribed to Blockbuster Online and all of these movies are on my list. The first one I received and watched was The Butterfly Effect. I don't know that I've ever felt like this after watching a movie. I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but I strongly suggest watching it. Blockbuster sent me Bourne Supremacy but not Bourne Identity, so I'm going to bump that to the top of my list and hopefully get to watch the both of them very soon. 8/4/05 - 1:32 a.m.
- Sorry for no update in so long... I've watched a few of the movies since my last update, just haven't gotten them updated on here yet. I have to say, I loved High Fidelity, I watched it two consecutive days. Also, Eternal Sunshine and Lost in Translation were both awesome movies, both of which I want to watch again once my basement furniture is back in its dry home. 6/13/05 - 11:25p.m.
- Watched That Thing You Do last Wednesday... I really love that movie and I haven't seen it in such a long time. I have been watching movies, but I have repeated some over and over again - not helpful to the process of culturing myself, I know, but I will make progress over break... I promise. 12/20/04 - 1:15p
- Wow. That's all I can say after Shawshank Redemption. That was a great movie - it was long, but it didn't seem like it at all. I think it was made even more powerful after hearing Todd's message on Thursday night - most of that movie could have been used as an illustration, not just the parts he picked out. I really enjoyed it. 11/14/04 - 3:37a
- So I just finished Napoleon Dynamite after watching it in 3 different sittings - nonetheless, I see what you guys are talking about, that movie was stinking hilarious. I almost fell off the futon when Napoleon was dancing on the stage. Amazing. Also, to clear everythign up - Rex IS played by the same guy that is Oswald on The Drew Carey Show - Deidrich Bader. Probably going to watch Shawshank sometime today. 11/13/04 - 11:02p
- I plan on watching Napoleon Dynamite this weekend, and hopefully Shawshank Redemption. I'll let you know how it goes. 11/12/04 - 2:34p
Please send submissions to Kevin.
